Maxsy Jimenez’ remarkable coaching experience includes representing Venezuela at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games as the official tennis coach and delegate. He has worked with numerous professional players at the 2000 US Open, 2000 Bronx Challenger, 2003 Stockholm Open, 2003 Mexico Challenger, and at Wimbledon 2004.
Maxsy brings to us a combined 24 years of elite playing and coaching experience. He has also served as hitting partner for professional players such as Marcelo Rios, James Blake, Mardy Fish, Fernando Gonzales, Todd Woodbridge, Christopher Rochus, Paul Goldstein, Ramon Delgado, Kristian Pless, Monica seles, Jennifer Capriati, Martina Hingis, Jelena Dokic, Sabine Applemans, Elena Dementieva, and Vera Zvonareva.
Maxsy’s playing career is furnished by years as a world-class junior player in where he reached the quarterfinals at the 1991 US Open Junior Championship. To mention some events he competed at the 1991 Canadian Junior Open, 1991 Pan-American Games, 1991 Orange Bowl Championship and the 1992 South American Satellite Circuit.
He has victories over former ATP top 200 players such as Thomas Enqvist, Mahesh Buhpati, Lucas Arnold, Ricardo Acioly and Mauro Meneses. Maxsy went on to have a successful collegiate career where he played #1 singles for NCAA’s Div.I University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC. Maxsy holds a B.S. degree in Management.
Maxsy Jimenez'' coaching philosophy is that you must practice with the same amount of intensity, determination and focus as you would play in tournaments. Therefore, the primary goal is to provide high-quality training sessions in a systematic way, which in turn is vital to each player’s development. The desired goal is to achieve successful performance results in competition.
Players who enroll as FULL-TIME in Maxsy-mum Tennis are individually given a well thought-out developmental plan for optimal guidance of their career. This plan consists of strategy, tactics, psychological development, physical development, scheduling, periodization, and goal setting.
This program best caters players with top potential to excel into elite players. Typically, this kind of player strives for personal excellence. He/she possesses sound skills in technique and has outstanding physical and mental attributes. This player has a deep understanding of commitment and also carries a high-level of intrinsic motivation. Success at this stage is often seen at national, and ITF level.

Days: Monday through Friday Time: 10-12 / 1-3pm Cost: $1,200 monthly |
The main goal of this program is to assist players in developing good technique while teaching them how to play with their correct game style. The maximization of weapons takes place and they are taught how to use them to their advantage in training and competition. Players at this stage have gained advanced technique because of what they learned in the previous stage of development and also because they are physically and mentally stronger. This player shows improved concentration based on emotional maturity. Strategy and tactics are highly trained as they prepare for a higher level of competitive demands. Top performance results vary from local to state level competition.

In this phase players are introduced to strategy and tactics applied as a whole. Often at this stage players start developing their own game style naturally. This program is characterized by technical and physical training as players mature physically at a high rate. Players are required to sustain rallies with a variety of shots learned previous to this stage. Competition is introduced as part of personal development as a player.

The theme of this program is fundamentals of the game. The goal is to give each player a platform for growth. Players are exposed to new technical strokes as well as movement to the ball and recovery, grips, and ball tracking. Players also learn the basic concepts of competition such as practice and match preparation, equipment, and scoring system. This phase will lay the foundation for what the player will be able to develop into in the future.
