how to get an ev permit:
complete your application at the parking and transportation services office located at g-01 university union after you have determined your car meets the standards. applicants also will need to know the engine size of their vehicle (4cyl., 6cyl., or 8cyl) and type of transmission (automatic/manual).
the program is only open to faculty and staff who are current permit holders. the cost of the ev permit will be the same as a normal employee parking permit plus a $25 surcharge. the standard $6 fee to exchange a parking permit will apply to initially enroll in the ev program. you may also download and fill out the application to be brought into the parking and transportation services office with your vehicle registration. all documents must be brought in, emailed materials will not be accepted.

participants in the ev program are entitled to 5 one-day courtesy permits each semester if another vehicle is driven to campus.
electric vehicle permits have a $25.00 surcharge added to the permit price. for ev charging sessions longer than 4 hours, the user may be charged $1.00/hr for each additional hour of charging.
